Magnesium Reef Shot

Magnesium is the third most important element in seawater composition. It is essential for many biological processes such as photosynthesis and cell division. It is also used in the formation of the skeletons of reef organisms. Levels of 1200 to 1380 ppm are desirable to maintain a healthy environment for your corals.

Instructions: Shake well before use. Standard dose: 1 bottle for 200 litres (50 gallons) of seawater per week. Dose to increase concentration: 1 bottle for 100 litres (25 gallons) of seawater. A weekly water change of 10-20% using Reef Evolution salt is strongly recommended to maintain optimal water quality. When adding the product, pour gently into the flow to ensure even distribution. Wait 5 minutes between adding any other products. Do not mix different products before dosing. Direct contact with marine organisms should be avoided as high local concentrations can be harmful. Like any chemical product, it should be kept out of reach of children.
